How to create classes

As a teacher, you can create private or public classes on the platform. In this article we will cover the complete process of creating a class.

Note - If you are part of school membership on platform, you can also use Lessonbee 
curated health classes and just add students.

• Login to your Lessonbee account.
• Click on the "My Content" text on the right hand side of header section. This will take you to your content page.
• This will take you to your content page, here you can see all type of content created by you in past. 

  Note - We have three type of content structure on platform. 
  1. Lesson - These are singular piece of content. It can be of type video, youtube or SCORM.
  2. Course - These are interactive singular module and can be of only SCORM type.
  3. Class - These are multiple content structure where you can add Lessons and Courses to it.

• Before creating a Class, ensure that you have created singular content unit like Lesson or Course that you plan to add to your new class. 

  Note - If you are part of school membership, you can use Lessonbee created 
  Lessons or Courses. We have 300+ Lessons and 30+ Courses in our Content Library.

• To create a new Class, click on "My Classes", you will see a list of Classes you have created in past, along with a button on top right with text "Create Class". Click on the button to open the class creation modal/pop-up.
• Add details to the form like name, description, grades range, category, tags, thumbnail image etc on the screen. Once done, click on "Next" button in bottom left.
•  In the next screen, you can add "Sections". A class can have one or more sections in it. Section is for logical grouping of singular content like Lessons or Course. You can add or delete sections on this screen. You can also reorder the position of sections. Once done, click on "Save and Next" button to move to next screen.
• After completing previous step, you will get a screen to add content to sections. In here you can choose the section, type of content and then the content from the list of available content. Availability of Lessonbee content is dependent if you are part of school membership. You can multiple content to multiple sections here. Once done, click on "Next" button to move to last screen.
• The last and final screen is for review, you can verify the details on this page and click "Save Class" if you have done so. You can click on any individual step in header and edit the details if you want to change any specific step details filled in earlier steps.
• With this, your class would be created successfully.
